     The author is Jonathan Edwards, the Younger (1745-1801), the son of Jonathan Edwards (1703-1758) the great American revivalist preacher.  The son   
     was also a distinguished American theologian and linguist, who had a congregation in New Haven at this date.  Published by subscription, with 14pp of     subscribers printed at back.  The final printed leaf contains ads for "Printer and Bookbinder Abel Morse".  Evans 22478
