the half-title page and dated by him 9 November 1939 to his secretary of 
thirty years Blanche Patch. Bookplate of noted Shaw collector Harold C. 
Ackert on the front pastedown. A superb Shaw association copy. Joints 
frayed and splitting but covers still tight. Chipping to the darkened 
spine heel and head with slight loss of lettering at top. Still Very
