London, printed, Dublin, reprinted: Isaac Jackson. 1746.  12mo. viii,148pp.  With the half-title which contains the woodcut frontispieceon the verso.  Text with some curious woodcuts (a few inked lightly) and astrological nativities.  19th. century polished calf, gilt spinewith black morocco label.  Hinges a bit rubbed, but perfectly sound.  A bit trimmed, and one leaf, pp.91-92 has the top outer corner torn off, affecting 
headline ("the book of knowledge") and the top of some letters on the first line of type.
$250     An extremely popular work in the 18th century in both England and America, in fact, about half of the 41 editions recorded by the ESTC were    printed in America.  This Dublin, 1746 is not recorded by the ESTC or OCLC.
