The Gentleman's Magazine, and Historical Chronicle. Volume XXXII [32]. For the Year MDCCLXII [1762]. London: Printed for D. Henry at St. John's Gate, [1762]. Twelve monthly issues, plus supplement, volume title, indices and preface. Tall 8vo (23 cm), untrimmed, in original(?) plain blue boards backed in vellum, early ink title to the spine; [4] + 633 +[17] pp.; with 13 copper-engraved maps and plates, nine of which are folding.

The maps, plates and other features of note include:
	- A folding Map of the BRITISH EMPIRE IN NORTH AMERICA as settled by the Preliminaries in 1762.
	- A folding Map of the WEST INDIES
	- A Map of the Island of JAMAICA
	- A Plan of the City and Harbour of HAVANNAH [Havana], as well as a folding Plan of the Siege of Havannah

Lacking two of the four contiguous folding maps of part of Silesia, else complete. Binding with some rubbing and browning, bottom corners bumped; browning and light wear to the untrimmed edges of the text block, mild toning and occasional offsetting to the text leaves and plates, a few scattered small spots and touches of soiling, else clean and sound, firmly bound. Front paste-down with the handsome engraved bookplate of Marius Nielsen (by Johannes Britze).
