Disbound, title lightly soiled and detaching, light browning to the edges of the leaves. Very rare: ESTC locates no copies of this first edition and only three copies of the second edition (1758) in British libraries (Oxford, BL, National Trust), none in the U.S. The author was a teacher of French at Oxford University.
