George Cruikshank: Illustrations of the Works of Lord Byron, from Designs by Cruikshank. London: J. Robins & Co., [no date, but c. 1825]. Slim 8vo (22 cm) in later navy blue cloth lettered in gilt, all page edges gilt; portrait frontispiece, ms. facsimile, 37 woodcut engravings. Original printed wraps bound in.

Several of the plates are dated 1824-25. The facsimile letter appears to be a later addition. Binding with light rubbing and edge-wear; old paper repairs to the portrait and facsimile; occasional spotting and light browning, else clean and sound. Uncommon.
