Stone and Company. 1901.Sm. 8vo.  (10),208pp. plus 7 inserted plates, 5 by Frank Hazenplug and 2 after photographsby Olive Percival.  Decorative tan cloth stamped in blue and black, designed byFrank Hazenplug.  An about fine copy inscribed on the front free end-paper "For mydear Mrs. Russell, from her admiring friend. Olive Percival. Los Angeles, 1901".

Olive Percival's first book.  Among her many accomplishments she was a great book collectorand a strong advocate for women's rights.  She was an important figure in the cultural life of
