First Edition. Cloth-backed decorative boards with paper spine label 
with uncommon original printed wrap-around band. A beautifully printed 
collection, the last by Kees before his mysterious disappearance the 
following year, this is one of a Limited Edition of only 25 copies, this 
one out-of-series and unnumbered, designated "printer's copy for 
presentation." The frontispiece, a piece of ORIGINAL ARTWORK by Kees, is 
here not bound in, but merely laid in; unusually, it is SIGNED “Weldon 
Kees 1954.” With the scarce prospectus for the book laid in. Fine in a 
Fine glassine dustwrapper with printed wrap-around band. (#021270)
