rowing work boats and pleasure craft. Illustrated with nice pen and ink
drawings by regional artists such as John Barber, Richards T. Miller,
Patricia Cutts, John C. de Grasse, and others. In addition to details about
the water craft there is a wealth of information on related matters such as
shipbuilding, maritime artisans, African American maritime activities, the
canning industry, shipbuilding woods, oysters and oystering, wharves, and
much more. Includes a glossary and bibliography. Bound in tan cloth over
boards with maroon spine title and maroon title and illustration on upper
board. Inscribed to Maryland senator Laurence Levitan by three
representatives of the Calvert Marine Museum. Protected by a Mylar cover.
