Greetings All,

For your consideration:
~
Hand, Richard A. "A Bookman's Guide to Hunting, Shooting, Angling, and
Related Subjects: a compilation of over 13,450 catalog entries with prices
and annotations, both bibliographical and descriptive."
Metuchen, NJ: The Scarecrow Press, Inc., 1991, first printing. Hardcover
(cloth), Octavo, xviii, 1176 pages. Condition: Near fine.
An excellent bibliography and guide compiled from catalogues of
antiquarian booksellers. Each entry provides a complete description
including (where available) author, title, size, number of volumes,
pagination, place published, date published, edition, number and type of
illustrations, and type of binding. As with most price guides these days the
pricing element here is most useful as a relative measure of value and
significance. Bound in brown cloth over boards with gilt-stamped spine and
gilt-stamped dark brown title block on upper board. A few slight rubs to
title block and spine extremities, two fore corners have tiny bumps. Clean
and bright.
$85 ppd (in print at $135, ABE for $175(!)).
