Translated into Latin by Ficinus]. (Venice: In Aedibus Aldi. September 1497). First 
edition. Folio. ff.(186) (including last blank). Roman letter. Woodcut capital 
on A2. Cont. German blind tooled calf (a few areas finely repaired), rebacked 
(almost unnoticeably) to match. With both fore-edge clasps (restored). Title 
lightly soiled; text with some pin-hole worming, mostly at the outer blank 
margin, but overall a beautiful copy, clean and crisp throughout, with ample 
margins and perfectly complete with the final blank leaf. This copy with a2 signed 
correctly (not a3) and with the last word on K2 recto spelled ‘absente.’

First edition of this collection of 13 works by Neoplatonist writers, 
translated and revised by Marsiglio Ficino and dedicated to Giovanni de’ Medici, the
