~
(No. 7571 ) Nichols, Chas. S. and Henry I. Shaw, Jr.. OKINAWA: VICTORY IN
THE PACIFIC.
(Washington, D.C.): Historical Branch, G-3 Division, Headquarters, U.S.
Marine Corps, 1955. First printing, Hardcover, Quarto, viii, 332 pages,

was taken from CinCPac War Diary. Interesting section on the role of
Kamikazes in the Okinawa Campaign. Well illustrated with photographs, 27
folded maps inside rear cover. COLETTA, USMC HIST #2812. Bound in glossy
pictorial paper over boards. Rubs at spine corners and bottom fore corner of
lower board, laminate separation along joints. Touch of light foxing to
endpapers, binding sound. Nice copy. $50.00
