We are pleased to honor Kentucky Derby Day with an interesting 1908 racing

"Fourteenth Annual Old Glory Horse Auction of America's Greatest Light
Harness Horses"

Auction held by Fasig-Tipton Company at New York's Madison Square Garden,
November 16th-21st, 1908. "A Galaxy of the Greatest Horses" auctioned at
Madison Square Garden! Fasig-Tipton remains in the horse auction business
to this day, and among their alumni were Harlan's Holiday, Kentucky Derby
winner Monarchos, and Seattle Slew, the only Triple Crown winner ever to
sold at public auction.

This catalog includes very informative entries for 749 harness horses, with
information on their pedigree going back several generations, comments on
some of their ancestors, and owner's statements about the horses. There are
also pictures of some of the horses. A wonderfully informative catalog.
