(incl. 50 full page) and 2 tipped-in color plates. Frontis photo of 
Man Ray. 4to. Original cream colored cloth with gilt stamped spine 
lettering (hardback); top edge gilt.  First edition. An important 
early monograph on Ernst with texts by Louis Aragon, Andre Breton, 
Rene Claude Cahun, Jean de Bosschere, Robert Desnos, Paul Eluard, 
Georges Hugnet, Benjamin Peret, Herbert Read, G. Ribemont-Dessaignes, 
Tristan Tzara, and Jacques Viot. A very good copy with some light 
soiling on the boards and a few leaves, small marginal tear to p. 45.

normally shipped Media Mail. For international orders, postage is
