Our new Internet-only NEW YORK BOOK FAIR Catalogue with 42 select items

Highlights include:

* Montanus on Japan 1669

* Plate volumes from the quarto edition of Diderot's Encyclopedia 1779

* Association copy of the first book by Gerard Manley Hopkins

* Collection of signed books and letters by Darwin contemporary Herbert 
Spencer who coined the term "survival of the fittest"

Gertrude Stein, Kurt Vonnegut, Virginia Woolf, and others.

We will be exhibiting these and hundreds of other interesting pieces at 
the annual NEW YORK ANTIQUARIAN BOOK FAIR, which many consider to be the
world's premier rare book fair, later this week.  We are in booth A-40 
in the far right corner.  Please note that we are unable to ship any 
books this week, but will ship any orders early next week.  If there is 
any book listed here or any in our stock that you would like to preview 
at the book fair, please let us know today.

All books subject to prior sale.  Cash with order; institutions may be 
billed.  Postage additional:  $8.00 for the first book, $4.00 each 
thereafter.  Overseas postage billed at approximate cost. Pennsylvania 
residents must add 6% sales tax.  Mastercard, Visa, American Express and 
Discover accepted.  Books may be returned within 7 days of receipt for 
any reason provided they are in the same condition as sent and prior 
notice is given. Please insure returns for their full value.  We carry a 
diverse stock with major specialties including Modern and 19th Century 
Literary First Editions, Autographed Books, and Limited Editions Club
