bound in one. Octavo. 176pp. + 10 plates; 52, 12, [16] pp. + 10 plates (two
of which are maps: "General Chart exhibiting Discoveries of the
Scandinavians in the Arctic Regions of  America during the 10th, 11th, 12th,
13th and 14th century"; and, "Map of Vinland"). Red leather ruled, decorated
and lettered in gilt. All edges gilt. Very Good, wear to head of spine with
1.25" separation at front joint; table of contents penciled in on endpapers,
scattered foxing, and some pencil underlining scattered throughout.  (39668)
