444 pages, black and white photographic plates. Good.
      Sailing directions for arctic regions, corrected to April 15, 1931. 
Illustrated with interesting photographs and a fold-out map keyed to 
Admiralty charts. There is also a bibliography and a glossary of Eskimo 
words. Supplement No. 5 to correct the volume to October 15, 1938 is laid 
in. Bound in white cloth over boards with spine and upper board lettered in 
black. Mild edge wear in a few spots, creases and some toning to spine, 
occasional foxing inside. Hinges sound. Supplement is in gray self-wraps 
with stapled spine and has a crease at top fore corner of front cover and a 
the stamp of NEGUS Nautical Instrument Makers of New York on front cover.
