of the enlarged Second Edition of the Speeches and Addresses of the
elected governor of Massachusetts and future President. Portrait
frontispiece. INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the author to Commander C. C. A.
Baldi "With Regards/Calvin Coolidge" on the front free endpaper.
Charles Carmine Antonio Baldi, an Italian immigrant who settled in
Philadelphia, organized a bank and owned a daily Italian language
newspaper in Philadelphia where he was the first Italian named to the
School Board. Some edgewear to the cloth and to the dustwrapper which
has a snag and tear at the middle of the spine with some loss and is
stained. Very Good in uncommon, Near Good dustwrapper. $1150.00
