Giguet Et Michaud, 1803. First Edition. 12mo. 371 + 341 + 380pp. Bound in an
early 19th century binding of full mottled calf over boards, gilt ruled
spine and simple armorial devices in the compartments, with red and black
spine labels stamped in gilt. Marbled endpapers. Front hinges cracked on all
three volumes, but still attached, rubbing and wear to the tops of spine
with some lose, and rubbing along the edges, volumes one and three with wear
to the black leather labels, else a Very Good+ set. // 

The first two volumes contain the unpublished letters between Rousseau and
Mme. Franqueville; the final volume contains the letters between Rousseau
and his editor, Pierre-Alexandre du Peyrou. Image available upon request
