Good, No dust jacket.
      Uncommon British edition of Hart's study of the command of William 
Tecumseh Sherman during the American Civil War. Numerous maps (some folding) 
illustrate Hart's analysis. This copy INSCRIBED and SIGNED by Hart on front 
free endpaper. Bound in dark brown cloth over boards with spine titled in 
gilt. Minor extremity rubs, some foxing to endpapers, browning to textblock 
edges. Front free endpaper has a few perforations along inner margin.
