FS: 1902 Alaska placer mine claim and map

Digging through the boxes and shelves again, and I struck gold!! You can buy
yourself a piece of Alaska Gold Rush history, right here, right now.  Price
to list members $125 ppd for two items (document and map):

The document is written in oak gall ink on a sheet of paper 11x8.5 inches.
It reads:
“We the undersigned citizens of the United States have discovered gold in
the ground hereafter described and hereby claim for placer mining purposes
in accordance with the laws of the U.S. 40 acres situated on the Nome River
a tributary of Behring (sic) Sea to be known as the “Dora” Bench claim and
described as follows:”

”Located
July 14th 1902 . It is signed by George Chary (with a hand drawn seal) and
James Harris (with a hand drawn seal and witnessed by T.J. (?) Hubbard and
W. H. Carson. Official filing stamp and handwriting on reverse side, filed
on Aug 21, 1902 and recorded in book 104 or 544. Number handwritten at top
of filing is 16134. The map is a cyanotype (blueprint copy) showing an
official survey Sept 5-6, 1904. The document has been (officially) folded
and also rolled, the map has been rolled. Springy, but easily ironed flat.
