plates. First edition. 4 volumes. Folio. Of the the original 20 
parts, 2 parts are not present here. Loose in the original paper 
wrappers, as published.

This important work is historical record of the buildings achieved by 
the firm begun by McKim and Mead who were later joined by White. The 
combined genius of Charles Follen McKim, William Rutherford Mead, and 
Stanford White resulted in some of the most iconic structures in the 
United States, including the Morgan Library, at New York, New York, 
1906, the Boston Public Library, at Boston, Massachusetts, 1887 to 
1895, Newport Casino, at Newport, Rhode Island, 1879 to 1880, 
Pennsylvania Station, at New York, New York, 1910. Some of the 
elegant houses, the preferred endeavors of McKim, were the Isaac Bell 
House, Newport, Rhode Island, 1881-1883, Harbor Hill on Long Island, 
New York, built 1899-1902 and the John F. Andrews Mansion, 32 
Hereford Street, Boston, Massachusetts, 1886.

Most of the wrappers are damaged in some way, a few are missing. 
Contents very good with tissue guards. Ask for further description.
