dust jacket, Jacket in Mylar protector.
      A catalogue of 338 engravings and lithographs, 32 in full color, 
depicting significant events, landmarks, and views in Maryland's development 
and history. Includes a remarkable collection of Civil War camp views by E. 
Sachse & Co. Each image is accompanied by a careful description and 
discussion of its significant features. Includes a good bibliography and a 
census of Maryland printmakers for the period covered. Bound in dark green 
cloth over boards with spine titled in gilt, yellow endpapers. Tiny rubs at 
extremities. Jacket has some slight edge rubs and a few closed edge
