One of the most popular general household books of the 17th century
with 15 separate editions before 1700. Information is provided on
veterinary medicine, all agricultural & farming issues, beekeeping,
hunting and hawking, angling, cookery, wine, fish ponds, fruit trees,
gardening, etc., etc. Even the game of tennis is mentioned. Some of the
parts were separately published (see Wing M618 and M655, also L737) and
many copies have been broken up. Complete copies are now scarce. Wing
