Nurnberg: J. C. Schmidhammer. 1750. Oblong 4to. (2),44pp. of double column text, plus 150 copper engraved plates (some misbound, but all present), with descriptive text in German and Latin. Copper engraved frontispiece with medallic portrait of Ovid. Orig. marbled boards, rubbed. Head & foot of spine and tips expertly reinforced. The title page, a bit soiled, has been backed. One plate (#150) repaired at bottom fore-corner with minor loss to one word of the engraved legend. That plate, the frontispiece, title and others with some old soiling and staining.               $850.00 (trade discount allowed)
