Boards faded, mark on spine from removed sticker, pastedown bookplate. Very useful to genealogists with lists of soldiers and sailors in the American Revolution and the Civil War. Original brown cloth binding with embossed design, gilt lettering to spine.  A few small chips at spine extremities.  The front board appears to have an old repair to the hinge.  Corners are slightly worn as are the  board edges. Previous owner's signature to first free end paper.  Minor foxing to contents. Scarce.  $360.00  NOW  $180.00
